Welcome to Veronica Hotel Paphos

Veronica Hotel Paphos is a charming three-star hotel located centrally on Danaes Avenue in Paphos, Cyprus. With a solid rating of 3.8, it offers guests a blend of comfortable accommodation, a prime location, and a welcoming atmosphere. Visitors appreciate its proximity to key attractions such as the Alykes Beach, local eateries, vibrant bars, and notable historical sites including early-Christian church ruins, making it ideal for guests eager to explore Paphos’s cultural and leisure offerings.

The hotel features an inviting outdoor pool framed by a relaxing garden, providing a peaceful retreat after a day of sightseeing. Its free Wi-Fi, complimentary breakfast, and parking add convenience to the stay. Family travelers will find the kid-friendly environment comfortable, while accessibility features cater to guests with mobility needs.

Reception and restaurant staff are frequently praised for their friendliness and helpfulness, enhancing the overall experience. The hotel has a warm and intimate feel, with some guests highlighting meaningful interactions with the owner, which adds a personal touch that many find appealing.

Room comfort is generally high, with clean, air-conditioned spaces and thoughtful amenities like ample fresh linens. However, there are some areas for improvement: guests note the absence of basic in-room essentials such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, bottled water, and tea or coffee making facilities—amenities typically expected at this hotel star rating. Communication challenges with housekeeping staff due to language barriers have also been mentioned, which can limit service efficiency in certain situations.

Despite minor drawbacks such as occasional maintenance issues or limited vegan breakfast options, many guests value the hotel's excellent location. It offers easy access to the beach, local transportation hubs, and the heart of Kato Paphos. Those renting a car find it an ideal base for exploring not only the immediate surroundings but the wider region of Cyprus at a reasonable cost.

In summary, Veronica Hotel Paphos stands out as a hidden gem that provides tremendous value for money, especially for travelers seeking a convenient, clean, and friendly place to stay while immersing themselves in Paphos’s rich cultural landscape. Its blend of outdoor allure, attentive staff, and strategic location make it a memorable choice for a diverse range of visitors. While some service elements could be enhanced, the hotel’s overall atmosphere and offerings make it a worthwhile destination for both short visits and extended stays.

The location is great to be in. However for a three star hotel I found less amenities. At the least for example, there’s no brush/toothpaste for guests or there was no mention of the receptions number besides the intercom. Further, there are no water bottles or coffee pouches or a kettle in the room. And I guess that’s a bare minimum in a 3 star hotel. It’s a beautifully placed and well built hotel but can show improvements in services.

Very friendly and helpfull staff at the reception and the restaurant. Nice big outdoor pool, really enjoyed it! Good location, there is a bus stop very close to hotel, kiosks, restaurants, bars. I just had a little issue that the water was leaking from the bathroom to the room and that housekeepers took my shoes' bags which I kept under the sink. I assume they mistaken it with just empty bags dropped on the floor as a trash..

The hotel has a perfect location. Reception staff are very helpful. Housekeeping staff cannot speak Greek or English so that's a problem as you can't communicate with them. Tried to ask for towels but that was very difficult. Actually shocking that the staff didn't speak Greek.

For it's price it was a pretty good hotel!! Amazing back garden around the pool and very relaxing outdoors. For vegans you cannot find much options for breakfast and generally complete meals if you want to eat there. It was very clean and very close to the castle and restaurants.

Honestly such a hidden gem and tremendous value for money. I got a princess parking spot right outside my room which was on the top floor (4th) giving our pool view room a lovely view of the treetops. The pool is big with plenty of loungers. The hotel was clean and the staff were lovely. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner and he was such a lovely humble man. We would definitely return! Thank you for a wonderful stay Veronica!

A nice hotel for the price located close to the beach, restaurants and bars. Would advise taking a car from the airport as it's only a 15 minute drive and costs the same as the coach transfer and you can easily travel the island. With a car you can see all the local sites at a fraction of the cost with most being only a few euros to enter, would highly recommend the beach just next to the blue lagoon.

An enjoyable one night stay at this hotel. Very friendly front desk team. Although the hotel is dated it is kept clean and well maintained. The rooms are comfortable the breakfast was simple but sufficient. Location good short walk and you are on the sea front and easy access to kato Paphos. A good experience will use this hotel again when in the area.

I don't understand the poor reviews of this hotel. I have just spent 5 nights on a bed and breakfast stay and found the hotel to be clean, friendly and perfectly located. The room was very comfortable with extra pillows if needed and lots of nice fresh towels that were changed during my stay. Bins were emptied daily and rooms cleaned. The public areas of the hotel were also very clean and comfortable, beautiful lounge area to sit and relax and a very spacious restaurant. I only had breakfast at the hotel so cannot comment on the evening meals, but breakfast was delicious. Large hot selection, continental meats and cheeses, plus yoghurt, fruit and cake ( and delicious rice pudding, always a winner for me). There must have been 5 different bread selections to toast too. Staff are attentive and tables are cleared swiftly. The pool area is large and I know I travelled off season, but plenty of beds, seating and a lovely pool bar. The hotel is greatly located with easy access to bars, restaurants and kiosks and reception staff are friendly and welcoming. It took me a slow amble of 25 minutes to walk to the harbour. I would not hesitate to return
